Neonwall, from Jandusoft
Price: £7.99 (EU Only)This is a curious little VR puzzler. You guide a little ball around a course, changing its colors to allow access to new areas. It doesn’t look like the most thrilling use of VR but it does offer more than 50 levels and support for motion controllers.

- Metal Slug VR Is Coming To Arcades With The Help Of World War Toons
Wouldn’t Metal Slug VR be really, really cool? Unleashing a fury of bullets and throwing yourself to the ground as you dart through chaotic levels taking on gigantic war machines?
That’s about to become a reality.
VR developer Studio Roqovan today announced a partnership with SNK to develop a new arcade game that combines its World War Toons shooter series with characters and features from the Metal Slug universe. Currently codenamed WWT:MSVR, the game is coming to KT VR Arcades next year.
WWT:MSVR will utilize room-scale VR tech and will, according to Roqovan CEO James Chung, “recreate the essence of what makes a great Metal Slug game” within the world of its cartoonish WW2 franchise. We don’t know too much more about the project right now, though we do have concept art that shows series heroes Marco Rossi and Tarma Roving teaming up with WWT characters.
Though it’s appeared on home consoles and PCs in the past, the Metal Slug series’ heart has always been in the arcade, so it’s fitting to see the game make its VR debut for location-based VR. There’s no word yet on if this content might every come to home-based headsets.
You can look for WWT:MSVR’s first mission to launch in Q1 of next year, with more content arriving later down the line. “This is just the beginning of the story for World War Toons and Metal Slug,” Chung added.

- Long Awaited VR Mech Battler Vox Machinae Coming This Fall
It’s been a long, long wait for one of VR’s best-looking mech battlers, Vox Machinae, but patient fans will soon be rewarded.
The below trailer for the game, which developer Space Bullet released earlier this week, confirms that it’s set to launch in Early Access this fall. More specifically, the Steam page for the game says it’s launching ‘early fall’, so we can possibly even expect it within the next few weeks. It’ll come with optional support for the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Windows VR headsets but it can also be played on standard monitors, too.
Vox Machinae gives players the chance to hop into the cockpit of war machines and head into battles on alien terrain in single-player and online matches. In VR the game makes full use of motion controllers, allowing you to operate a robust UI with your hands.
Space Bullet says the game should be in Early Access for around six months. It’ll launch with Deathmatch, Salvage and Stockpile game modes as well as a free-for-all mode. Five mechs will be available to choose from with 10 weapons to select and five maps to play on. During the course of the pre-release phase the developer intends to add new abilities as well as more weapons, mechs, modes and maps. There will also be improvements to enemy AI and a hub world to hang out with friends in.
